Only Buy Money (OBM) is a simple yet effective Strategy for Dominion, that can help begginers understand more advanced Dominion play and relise it's not actually all about the Kingdom Cards. It is based around buying only the Basic Treasure cards.
Details
If you have:
2 or less coins: Buy Nothing
3-5 Coins: Buy Silver
6-7 Coins: Buy Gold
8 or more Coins: Buy Province
Note OBM is actually a slightly misleading name, as you must buy provinces.
How Good Is it?
OBM is a powerful strategy, but is easily beaten by many strategies involving few Kingdom Cards. It has been shown that adding any one Kingdom card makes it better. Players should relise Treasure is very valuable and aim to get a good proportion of Kingdom Cards and Treasures.
